Soap & Water

This photoshoot is a creative exploration between Seth Stevenson Photography (Seth & Ryan) and Lucy Yun of LUCKY LUCY CREATIVE. Using simple ingredients like soap and water with a bit of jewels provided by Kara Yoo Jewlery, Seth Stevenson Photography and LUCKY LUCY CREATIVE have created 6 unique still life photographs that exude intriguing compositions, textures, depth and light.

Although the main ingredients were rather simple, complex and technical processes were involved in terms of executing these shots as planned. As for the backdrop setup, a subtle sky blue colour was blended into a soft, dandelion yellow to reminisce early dawn. In addition, many props from plexiglass, prism cube, handmade ceramics by Zano by Sadj, custom-built water bath to corn syrup were carefully utilized and co-stylized by Lucy and Ryan. A delicate shadow was casted by gentle bunny tails that are hand-picked by Kamila of Bloomier Florals.
